💬👍 If you wish to hide a specific Messenger conversation from your conversation list, then the Archive option gives you the ideal solution.
📂 Archive allows Messenger users to move any conversation to a separate file folder and remove it from their conversation list without the need to delete it.
👇👇 All you have to do is follow the steps below:
📱 If you are using your mobile phone 📱
✅ Open the Messenger app.
✅ Press and hold the chat of your choice until a window with options appears. Tap on the Archive option.
✅ Your conversation has been removed from your conversation list and is now moved to the Archive folder.
🔎 To access the conversation, enter Messenger and press the hamburger menu (the 3 vertical lines on the top left of the screen). Select Archive.
🔁 If you wish to restore it to your chat list, press and hold the chat of your choice until a window with options appears. Tap on the Unarchive option.
💻 From a Computer 💻
✅ Log in to Facebook and tap on the Messenger icon. Tap on See all in Messenger.
✅ Find the conversation you want to hide and place your cursor on it. Tap on the 3 horizontal dots that will appear and then select Archive chat.
✅ Your conversation has been removed from your conversation list and is now moved to the Archive folder.
🔍 To access the chat log into your Facebook account, tap the Messenger icon, tap the 3 horizontal dots below the icon and select Archive chats.
🔁 If you wish to restore it to your conversation list, place your cursor on it. Tap on the 3 horizontal dots that will appear and then select Unarchive chat.
